Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Isekai Diagnosis
What is Isekai Diagnosis?
Isekai Diagnosis is a free personality quiz that reveals "which role you would hold in a fantasy world if you were reborn there" — based on just 12 questions. It judges your talent type and role across 4 worlds (Kingdom of Magic, Space Federation, Edo Realm, and Neo Future City), and reveals your real-world strengths and the unconscious behavior patterns (curses) you unknowingly repeat.
How many questions are there?
There are 12 questions in total. Each has 4 choices — just pick intuitively. Average completion time is about 3 minutes. You can change your answers on previous questions while taking the quiz.
What are the 4 worlds?
Isekai Diagnosis uses 4 distinct fantasy settings: Kingdom of Magic (medieval fantasy), Space Federation (sci-fi space age), Edo Realm (Japanese Edo-period fantasy), and Neo Future City (year 2150 cyberpunk). No matter which world you land in, your core talent stays the same — the 4 worlds express your essence from different angles.
What are the 8 talent types?
The 8 archetypes are: Royal Court (leadership · strategy · decision-making), Golden Guild (negotiation · investment · sales), Tower of Sages (analysis · research · learning), Silver Knights (action · challenge · execution), Artisans' Alliance (creation · craft · mastery), Arts Academy (expression · creativity · sensation), Pioneers' Guild (exploration · venture · discovery), and Guardian Council (stability · management · protection). Each represents a distinct form of talent — none is superior to another.
How is this different from MBTI or StrengthsFinder?
MBTI classifies personality; StrengthsFinder classifies talent strengths. Isekai Diagnosis is designed as a "life strategy quiz." The result reveals not just your strengths but also the unconscious behavior pattern (the curse) you keep repeating, and how to break it. Using a fantasy world framing also lowers the emotional resistance to honest self-reflection.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free. No account registration required — you can start immediately.
Is any personal information collected?
No personally identifying information (name, email, date of birth, etc.) is collected. Your answers are temporarily stored in your browser (sessionStorage) and are never sent to a server.
Will my result change if I take it multiple times?
If your answers change, your result changes. However, answering intuitively tends to surface your natural tendencies, so the same person in the same context often gets the same result. If your result varies across attempts, it may be a sign that you carry traits of multiple talent types.
How does the scoring system work?
Each answer option is pre-assigned scores for each talent type. The 12 answers are tallied and the type with the highest score becomes your result. No AI or machine learning is used — it's a rule-based scoring system, so the same answers always produce the same result. Aptitude score is displayed in the 72–97% range.
Can I share my result on social media?
Yes. The result page has share buttons for X (Twitter) and LINE, plus a text copy button. The share text uses a "prophecy" style designed to prompt your friends to try the quiz too.
Which talent type appears most often?
Statistically, Guardian Council (stability · management · protection) and Tower of Sages (analysis · research · learning) tend to appear most frequently. Pioneers' Guild (exploration · venture · discovery) is among the rarest. That said, no type is ranked higher than another — all types represent a unique and valuable form of talent.
What should I do if the result doesn't resonate with me?
A few approaches: try answering as your 'ideal self' rather than your current state. Retake the quiz and notice which questions you hesitated on. The result page also shows alternative roles from the other 3 worlds — check those too. If even 20–30% of the description resonates, that's worth treating as a hint.
How can I apply the result to real work or life?
The "Strengths," "Curse," and "Strategy" sections in the result are your most practical starting points. For example, if you're in the Royal Court type, the curse is the "Lone Monarch" — the pattern of trying to decide everything yourself, leading to isolation. By consciously experimenting with delegating, your leadership becomes far more effective.
Is there an age restriction?
No age restriction. However, some questions reference work experience, money, and career, so teens and younger users may find it more useful to answer from the perspective of "how I want to be in the future" rather than current reality.
Does the quiz use AI?
No AI or machine learning is used in the scoring. Each answer option has pre-configured scores per talent type, and the quiz totals them with rule-based logic. This means the same answers always yield the same result — fully reproducible.
How can I enjoy this with friends or colleagues?
The simplest way: share your result on social media and ask friends "Which world did you get?" You can also gather a group, everyone takes the quiz at the same time, and then discuss "who's in the same organization" or "which combinations go well together." Great for workplaces, clubs, or families.
How accurate is the result?
Isekai Diagnosis is designed as an entertainment and self-understanding tool — it's not a psychologically validated measurement instrument like MBTI or StrengthsFinder. We recommend using it as a "hint" rather than a definitive verdict. Combining it with other self-assessment tools tends to deepen self-understanding further.
Is there a Japanese version?
Yes. The Japanese version is available at the top of this site. The quiz content, world settings, and all 8 talent type descriptions are fully available in Japanese.
